Herbal Medicine & Holistic Lifestyle Coaching … for Your Peace of Mind, Body & Work Flow
Are you ready to feel more calm, mindful, present and at peace when it comes to your relationship with food, energy and mood? Do you want to learn how to listen to your body? Spend more time in nature?
So many of us are feeling distracted, overwhelmed, overrun and tired from an overabundance of information on health, healing and “how to be your best self”. It’s a lot to absorb and you’re actually pretty perfect as you are. 🙂
I’m here to help you see your awesomeness, to help you find a sense of balance when it comes to work-life balance, and to help you build confidence, carve our time for self-care and create space for more joy in your everyday life.
I’m also here to help you land into that larger space of inner-peace that you crave, as well as find a deeper sense of comfort in your skin and freedom to do the things you love (like that walk in the woods, or, coffee date you’ve put off for weeks).
The best part is, we get to work through all of this in a safe and non-judgmental environment that fosters lasting results … in way that feels authentic, fun and natural … and also addresses your legitimate health concerns, personal hurdles, needs, cravings, body-type, flow and rhythms.
What does working with a certified coach, clinical herbalist and holistic lifestyle consultant look like?
Well, there are a few ways we can work together, be it a purely clinical approach (6-8 week program), or, through an integration of clinical work and mind-body coaching (6-12 month program). Through our time together we can integrate herbal medicine, Ayurveda, mind-body nutrition, psychology of eating, and mindful living practices.
The approach I share is practical, creative and down to earth. This work isn’t about looking post worthy. It’s not at the pace of Tik Toc. It’s about helping you to slow down and feel more present in real life. It is about cultivating an authentic relationship with how you walk through the world, talk to yourself, listen to your body, connect to nature, express yourself, take time for prayer and meditation, and how you even connect with others.
Holistic Health | Ayurveda | Herbal Medicine | Work-life Wellness Coaching
Well, usually after 3 sessions you feel results: your digestion is better, your sleep is better, you have less chronic pain and you have and a better understanding of how to support your personal body type. You’re learning to soften the voice in your head and sure up your boundaries.
After 4-6 sessions Your anxiety is going down, your binge eating has lowered (or stopped), your confidence is expanding and relationship with exercise has even gotten better. You’re sleeping through the night (or close to it) and you’re no longer losing your shit with over-reactivity towards your loved ones 🙂
After 12 sessions … you’re feeling more ready to take on the world with more energy, a sense of grounding and authenticity (maybe than you’ve ever experienced before).
You’ve discovered some of personal patterns – have learned how to pattern interrupt in a holistic way … and have deepened your connection to nature and it’s seasons as well as the lunar phases of the moon and your gut instincts.
You’ve gained clarity, intuition and traction. You’re even mindlessly grazing less be it for snacks, information, or, stimulation.
This is also where we can customize a holistic dopamine detox, or social media fast that works well for you and your everyday routines..
You’re feeling in touch with your passion, purpose and sense of satisfaction. You’re spending more time in nature. You’re truly present enough to create mindful memories.
You feel more awake, more free, less anxious, less overwhelmed, less stress, less hungry all the time …
Your not only grazing the fridge less, you’re grazing social media and the internet less.
You feel ready to break the scroll cycle.
These are the kind of results clients feel and share during our time together. I’m not a fly by night practitioner. I share close to 20 years of experience in holistic health care and have worked with over 1000 individuals on a close, longer term 1:1 basis as a clinical herbalist, holistic healer, psychology of eating practitioner and mind-body health coach.
It’s a body meets mental health and well-being kind of process.
I share this work as I totally know what it’s like …
I understand how frustrating is it to try a million different things only to have nothing work.
I understand how frustrating it is to constantly compare yourself.
I understand how tiring it is to feel like a slave to food.
I understand what it’s like to feel overweight (having lost 80 lbs. and 16 pant sizes).
I understand what it’s like to feel fear and confusion over what to eat.
I understand negative self-talk
I what it feels like to crash at 3pm on a daily basis … canceling dinner plans and dates with friends (and feeling like crap for it).
I understand what it’s like to literally loathe exercise (and eventually actually love it).
I SO understand chronic pain, digestive disorders, allergies and insomnia. Bleh! (Don’t worry, these are usually pretty easy fixes!)
I’ve known all too well the many debilitating colors and degrees of depression and anxiety.
I TOTALLY know what it’s like to doubt myself – even when I know I shouldn’t.
And, it’s 100000% relatable to feel a little fearful to start something new.
The thing is, life is a practice and not a perfect. When we embrace the beauty of what I call “trial and experiment” and stop focusing on “the right way”, we allow ourselves room to BE and break through.
I was overweight, allergic, anxious, depressed, shy, super sensitive and felt “alone” most of the time. I hated my body most of the time, hated exercise all the time, always wondered why some people could eat everything and I could gain inches while eating literally salad and saltine crackers (I mean c’mon, it was the 90’s). There was also lots of cycles of day time starvation followed by night time cereal binging (anyone?).
I felt sick, unseen, unheard and misunderstood by the systems of healthcare that I had encountered. I led a pretty messy life, but, also knew I wanted more. This led me to find a new way for myself and for others.
I left music school to honor my call towards healthcare and eventually found myself apprenticing and studying with some pretty amazing herbalists, aromatherapists, naturopaths, nutritionists and Ayurvedic practitioners. I eventually; I opened my own practice (Nourish) and 20 years later never looked back.

When you feel calm, fulfilled and energized you inspire and you shine.
I personally think that you being brave enough to be yourself and courageous enough to share your God given gifts will help make the world a better place. When you take better care of yourself and hold more responsibility for yourself, you cultivate an abundance of energy to share. You create more room to love. You create more harmonious space to share. A healthier you creates a healthier and happier world. That’s the world I want to see for you, for your neighbor and for me.
How do we get started, how does this work?
It’s no secret that herbal medicine, mindful eating, holistic health coaching and Ayurveda work, but, where do you begin?
You can begin by booking an initial health intake session. During this time you and I will discuss your health concerns and formulate a plan that supports your unique needs. Usually this will entail a 6-8 week holistic health and wellness program, or, if you feel like a fit for the deeper work, a 6-12 month mind-body health coaching program.
During the holistic health and wellness program you will receive clinical care for any health issues you are hoping to address through 1:1 consultations.
During the coaching program you will receive more robust support, learn new ways to listen to and nourish your body, how to navigate cravings and healthy food choices, what herbs and food may work best for you, and so on.
If this sounds like something you’re interested in, book a session here online. You are also welcome to drop me a line with any questions by email. If you are feeling really brave, you’re welcome to give me a ring. I love sharing a quick 10 minute call for those seriously interested in working together 1:1.
